The Graphics Window
When you work in the kBridge Editor, you have a number of ways to move around the Graphics Window and to adjust the view of the precast element you're working with.
There are two primary means for navigating and modifying the view:
The graphics menu, along with corresponding, built-in mouse gestures (movement modes), and

The view cube

If multiple Layouts or Views have been defined, a Menu will appear in the lower left corner that lets you select which one to display.
The Graphics Menu and Basic Mouse Gestures
If you have a mouse with a middle button, you can move around the view by pressing and holding it. The same thing happens if you activate the Pan mode
.
When you activate the orbit mode you’re able to rotate the view, and view the Vault from a variety of angles
. The same thing can be accomplished by pressing the left button of your mouse while holding the Control key.
The two other buttons in that section of controls enable you to zoom in and out
which you can also accomplish by using the scroll wheel on your mouse. There is also a button to zoom in to a window
that you select by picking two corner points with your mouse.
The first two buttons in the graphics controls zoom to fit the contents in the current window. The home view
returns the vault to the view that was in effect when you started your session, whereas the zoom extents
retains the current orientation of the model, but maximizes it within the Graphics Window.
The next tool, the arrow
is the selection tool. This enables you to select Model Elements within the Graphics Window.
Moving to the right, the measure tool
gives you the ability to snap to geometry on the vault to measure things and confirm dimensions.
The fifth column of buttons lets you change the view mode from shaded with edges
or without
, to wireframe
, to hidden lines invisible
or dashed
.
The last two buttons let you change between orthogonal viewing
and perspective mode
. In the perspective mode, you are able to adjust the field of view.
The View Cube
You can click on any of the faces of the view cube to jump to a 'straight on' view of the selected face.
By clicking and holding on the view cube, you can also orbit the current view. There are also buttons to rotate the view in 90-degree increments.
There is also a Home view button. This acts the same as the Home button in the toolbar
.
